Y’all know what a “petabyte” is? It’s not a new kind of tapas. It’s one quadrillion bytes. That’s a metric f!&%ton of data, in scientific terms. An .mp3 one petabyte long would take 2,000 years to play. Google—all of Google—only handles about 24 petabytes-worth of data per day. But, your data-heavy endeavors, like animation studios, oil-and-gas exploration, and universities, they manage petabytes of data all the time. Qumulo is a software-based storage solution that allows then to deal with it. I wrote their website. Check it out. You might learn something – I know I did!
